Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of discipline and work motivation on the performance of teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Prabumulih. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 35 respondents, consisting of both civil servant and honorary teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Prabumulih. Data analysis in this study was conducted using SPSS version 29. The research method applied was a quantitative approach using questionnaires. The analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. Based on the data calculations and the analysis applied, the obtained regression equation is: Y = 11.052 + 0.294 X1 + 0.442 X2 + e. The statistical test results show that the discipline variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (Y), with a t-value of 3.101 and a significance value of 0.004 < 0.05. Similarly, the work motivation variable (X2) also has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (Y), with a t-value of 4.860 and a significance value of <0.001 < 0.05. From the model summary output, the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.849, indicating that 84.9% of teacher performance is influenced by discipline and work motivation, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not included in this study.
