Abstract

One of the common challenges faced by industrial companies is inventory control. One method to manage inventory effectively is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The problem statement in this study is how to evaluate the receipt and inventory control of spare parts using the EOQ method in the Millstore and Inventory Management Department at PT Tanjung Enim Lestari Pulp and Paper. The objective of this research is to evaluate the receipt and inventory control of spare parts using the EOQ method in the Millstore and Inventory Management Department at PT Tanjung Enim Lestari Pulp and Paper. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research approach, utilizing secondary data. The evaluation results indicate that the receipt and inventory control of spare parts in the Millstore and Inventory Management Department at PT Tanjung Enim Lestari Pulp and Paper fluctuated between 2018 and 2020 in terms of EOQ, Safety Stock, and Reorder Point (ROP). These findings highlight the need for proper spare parts control to prevent potential issues for the company in the future.
