Environmental-Based Ecotourism Area Management in Air Talas Village, Rambang Niru District, Muara Enim Regency Pengelolaan Kawasan Ekowisata Berbasis Lingkungan Desa Air Talas Kecamatan Rambang Niru Kabupaten Muara Enim

Abstract

The community of Air Talas Village, Rambang Niru District, Muara Enim Regency, plays an active role in developing the village's potential by promoting local wisdom, including agriculture, plantations, customs, and cultural arts. Their development efforts focus on preserving the originality of traditional house structures, customary ceremonies, and traditions passed down through generations. The people of Air Talas Village also actively participate in various activities, such as labor contribution, material contribution, skill contribution, expertise contribution, and social participation. These contributions reflect the community's role in managing the Ecotourism Area of Air Talas Village, Rambang Niru District, Muara Enim Regency. This study aims to analyze the community's participation in managing the ecotourism area of Air Talas Village. The research was conducted using interviews and field observations, analyzed through a qualitative descriptive method. Ultimately, the development of this ecotourism initiative strengthens the village's resilience, social cohesion, environmental conservation, and the preservation of local customs and culture.
