Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of education level and minimum wage on educated unemployment in Lampung Province from 2012 to 2023, as well as its perspective from Islamic economics. Using a quantitative approach with secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the multiple linear regression OLS method through Eviews 10, the study found that education level and minimum wage have no significant effect on educated unemployment, either partially or simultaneously. From an Islamic perspective, unemployment is considered dangerous as it can lead individuals into poverty and actions that may harm others. Although Islam emphasizes the importance of working, the unemployment rate in Muslim-majority countries remains relatively high.
